VOLUNTEER SECOND SATURDAYS IN THE PARK

 

Help beautify the Park every Second Saturday of the month, March - November. Volunteers collect trash, weed, plant, paint, mulch, and rake. Supplies, gloves, and safety guidelines are provided.

 

Kids are welcome but all minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult!

WHEN: Second Saturday of each month, March through November, 10 a.m. -- Noon.

WHERE: Meet near the new playground/basketball courts at 117th street and Morningside Ave. Just look for our tables and banners!

HOW: Please SIGN UP HERE to attend. Space is limited each month. Groups should contact us for availability.

FRIENDS FRIDAY MORNING GARDEN CLUB 

(Fridays are temporarily paused to the general public)

​

Friends Friday Gardeners pull weeds, plant flowers pick up trash and spread mulch all year long. This is for experience gardeners able to work with minimal supervision. 
 

WHEN: Every Friday, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m., year-round, weather permitting.

 

WHERE: In front of the restrooms at West 112th Street and Manhattan Ave, inside the Park.

 

HOW: If you are not already a regular gardener, please submit a contact us form for additional information and availability.
